Hands off Gaza City

On August 16th Israeli Occupation Forces announced a plan to escalate its invasion of Gaza City by forcibly displacing Palestinians to the South. Gaza City is the only place in Gaza with standing infrastructure. Gaza City is densely populated by Gazans who have been displaced by Israel's ongoing bombing, invasion, occupation, and starvation of the Gaza Strip.

The announcement of the escalation of the invasion and genocide in Gaza comes after Israel has starved Palestinians in Gaza and denied the entry of food and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Occupation Forces continue to murder Palestinians who seek aid from the Gaza Humanitarian Fund. These acts have continued with the full support of the Trump administration and U.S. foreign policy.

National SDS condemns Israel for this act of genocide and ethnic cleansing. Further, we condemn the U.S. government and Trump administration for its role in funding, arming, and politically supporting Israel in this genocide of Gaza. National SDS Demands hands off Gaza City, stop the ground invasion, and an end to U.S. aid to Israel.
