SDS Demands Justice for Kohen Wiley
On June 14th, 2026, the
Senatobia, Mississippi, Police
Department shot and killed 1-
year-old Kohen Wiley based
on allegations that his
mother had stolen a package
of diapers. She did not, in fact,
steal anything from the
Walmart where this murder
took place, and we firmly
believe that the value of a
child’s life is worth infinitely
more than anything that
could have been stolen.
This is just one of the latest instances of police brutality and violence inflicted upon Black people for the sole crime of being Black. We are outraged by the death of Kohen Wiley, and the death of every Black child whose life the police entirely disregard. Every child deserves to grow up safe and free from harm.
We stand with the family of
Kohen Wiley, his mother,
and with the ongoing
protests against police
violence in Mississippi and
around the United States.
we demand a transparent
investigation into Kohen’s
murder.
Black lives matter!
Jail killer cops!
